The following report came out about 8 years ago today:
"On a global scale, the U.S. Geological Survey's National Earthquake Information Center (NEIC) located over 23,000 earthquakes last year, their highest annual total ever. Prior to 1993, the NEIC never catalogued more than 20,000 earthquakes in one year (Http://hvo.wr.usgs.gov/)."
Someone spoke about an increase in earthquakes about 2000 years ago, and this is documented in Mathew 24:7, Mark 13:8, and in Luke 21:11. This evidence in three biblical sources is what is called the harmony of the Gospels.... The question being asked at the time was what will be the sign of your coming and of the close of the age? Jesus said: " For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are but the beginning of the birth pains.
