What is enormous about this one seemingly insignificant verse is the question one should be asking after reading. What is the question? What if this king would have known who Joseph was? The answer may be a bit speculative, but most likely the 500 years of slavery which followed would have never taken place. Of course, Moses would have probably had a completely different life, if he would have ever been born at all.
