Realistic thought on evil

Many often claim "the devil made me do it" after doing something wrong. The reality is that is difficult to prove, and it's often a justification to be unaccountable for one’s own actions. Anyhow, one can blame the devil or Satan for much evil, but the physical perpetration and manifestation of evil has almost always involved humans throughout time 

History shows that humanity has inflicted immense suffering upon itself through systemic violence, war, and atrocities. Major historical catastrophes—such as state-sponsored genocides, total wars, and brutal regimes—were designed, executed, and sustained by human choices and societal structures rather than natural disasters.
